V alerie Blankenship, 46, of Princeton died Monday, July 17, 2023, in Princeton. Born June 17, 1977, in Hinton, she is the daughter of Larry McBride of Pipestem and Lois Lilly Grimmett of Hinton. Valerie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and daughter, who loved her family dearly. Survivors in addition to her parents, four children, Zach McBride, Crystal McBride, Isaiah McBride and Katarina Adams; Five grandchildren, Jaylee, Natalie, Jaxtyn, Dominic and Maverick; Five siblings, Susie McBride, Kary McBride, Roxanne McManaway, Brandon McBride and Kayla Adkins; Host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 26, 2023, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with John Puckett speaking.  Burial will follow in the Lilly Cemetery, Gravely Point Road, Pipestem. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Tucker, James, Zach, Brandon, Larry and Thomas.
