Helen J. McKinney, 76, of Hinton died peacefully Monday, January 25, 2010 at the Summers Nursing and Rehab Center following a long illness. Born November 11, 1933, at Coal City, she was the daughter of the late John Cooper and Dessie Daniel Cooper. Helen had retired from the Pinecrest Hospital in Beckley with many years of service, she was also a member of the Bellpoint Baptist Church in Hinton. Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Gaylord Samuel McKinney of Hinton One brother, Gene Cooper of Coal City And one niece, Patricia Sanger of Midway Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, January 28, 2010 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor David Board officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from Noon until the service hour.
