Charlie "Wayne" Easter, 82, of Elgood, went to be with the Lord late Friday evening, February 3, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on March 14, 1934 in Elgood and was the son of the late Charles "Dewey" Easter and Nellie Akers Easter. Wayne was timberman and farmer all of his life and he proudly served his country with the US Army. Wayne was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed dearly by all that loved and knew him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years Zila French Easter, brother, Noah Matthew Easter and two sisters Mary Matherly and Fannie White. He is survived his children, Stanley and Joyce Easter; Randy Easter and girlfriend Heather; Chucky and Melissa Easter, Missy Dick and Tara Bradshaw and Tracy. Grandchildren, Sydney and Ken Starnes; Heather and Mike Thorpe, Wendy and Patrick Terry, Travis Easter, Anthony and Nikki Easter; Charley Easter, and Cody Dick. 10 Great Grandchildren; Brothers, Leslie and Phyllis Easter and Billy Jo and Rosetta Easter. Sister, Juanita Bowling; A host of nieces and  nephews; Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Tim Sanderson officiating. Burial will follow in Athens Cemetery in Athens.    Friends may visit with the family Monday evening from 5 until 8 PM at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be, Travis Easter, Tony Easter, Tracy Bradshaw, Curtis Whitlow, Kevin Cook and Shane Farmer.
