Wilma Jo Peak

Wilma Jo Peak, 76 of Lusby, Maryland passed away at Calvert Health Medical Center in Prince Frederick, Maryland on Friday, May 22, 2026.

Wilma was the devoted mother of Joseph Puckett (Ruth), April Dove (David), David Peak (Trina), and Kevin Peak and the loving grandmother to Bridget Fritter, David Dove, Casey Puckett, and Brianna Church. She is also survived by four great grandchildren (Kaleb, Khloe, Kinsley, and Kamryn), one very special niece, Melissa Dudding, and many nieces and nephews.

Born on July 12, 1949, in West Virginia, Wilma is the last living child of the late Jospeh R. Puckett and Bessie Marie Puckett; she was preceded in death by one sister, Phyllis Street. Wilma moved from Princeton to Calvert County, Maryland in 1996.

Mrs. Peak was a member of Carr Memorial United Methodist Church at Glenwood and a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxillary of the VFW.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2026, in the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Directory on Athens Road in Princeton with Lay Speaker John Puckett officiating. Burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the service time.
