William F. Jackson, Sr., 86, of Littlesburg Road, Bluefield, died Saturday, November 25, 2023, at WV-PCH-Bluefield Campus. Born March 20, 1937, in Mohegan, he was the son of the late Bernard Jackson and Carrie Opal Sayre Jackson. William served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force as a mechanic. He was a brick mason by trade and was a member of the Cornerstone Family Church in Princeton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Charles Jackson, John Jackson, Mary Jung, half-brothers, David Jackson, Bernie Jackson and a half-sister, Fonda Akers. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Left to cherish his memory are his friend, Sandy Deel and the Deel family; Best friend, Jason Atwell; Sisters-in-law, Frances Jackson from Tazewell and Edna Jackson from New Carlisle, PA; Several nieces and nephews also survive. William's wishes have been honored he has been cremated with no services. Inurnment will follow in the spring at the End of the Trail Cemetery in Clintonville.
