William Joseph Harman (Bill to all of his friends) of Silver Street, Princeton, WV, passed away on October 1, 2022, at the home of his son, Michael, in East Tennessee. Bill was born on May 15, 1941, and spent his life in West Virginia. Bill was a graduate of Princeton High School, class of 1959, and a graduate of Bluefield State College. He was a retired coal miner, mine foreman, a member of the UMW A and served as a member of the National Guard for 8 years. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Princeton. What he enjoyed most was riding his Harley Davidson and enjoying all the beautiful hills, mountains, and the true beauty of West Virginia as he cruised the roadways on his Harley. Bill was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Wiley and Lucille W. Call and his grandparents whom he loved dearly, Mr. & Mrs. Charlie Joseph West, all of Princeton. He is survived by his two sons, Michael Joseph Harman of East Tennessee and William Lee Harman (Billy) of Florida; by the mother of his two sons, Carol B. Harman of East Tennessee; and by his grandchildren, Allie and Lucas Harman of Georgia. The family wishes to thank the Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice for all the loving care provided to Bill. It is much appreciated. Private funeral services will be held Monday, October 10, 2022 from the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with John Puckett officiating.
