Obituary

Wendy Virginia Browning, 44, of Kegley, unexpectedly passed on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Princeton Community Hospital and has entered the loving arms of her Lord and Savior.

Born November 16, 1981, in Princeton, she was the daughter of Linda Mitchell Karnes and the late Ralph Wayne Hill, both of Princeton.

Wendy graduated from Pikeview High School in 2000. After graduating, she decided to spend her life taking care of others and began working in the medical field. She formerly worked at Med-Express in Princeton and was currently working at Reynolds Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Princeton. She was a woman of faith and attended Mount Olive Community Church. In her spare time, she loved being with her family, reading, cooking, canning, gardening, and working puzzles.

Wendy was preceded in death by her father Ralph Hill; paternal grandparents Donald and JoAnn Hill; paternal uncle Jeffrey Hill; and maternal grandparents James and Darlene Mitchell. Those left to cherish her memory are her mother Linda Karnes; son Nicholas Browning and fiancé Jessica Hicks; daughter Madison Browning; lifelong companion Greg Browning; her four sisters Misty Hill and fiancé Tom Ferguson, Christie Hurt and husband Eric, Mindy Meadows and husband John, and Cindy Hill; nephews Alexander Baca, Johnathon Meadows, and Christian Hurt; niece Addelyn Meadows; and her four-legged buddy Hank.

Wendy's love for God was a source of comfort throughout her life. During this time of sorrow, her family is reminded of one of her favorite verses, II Corinthians 5:7, "For we walk by faith, not by sight."
