Watie Collins Smith, 81, of Princeton, died peacefully Thursday morning, May 30, 2024, at Princeton Community Hospital. Born May 3, 1943, at Iaeger, she was the daughter of the late Burl Collins and Rosie Lester Collins. Watie was a member of Ashworth Baptist Church on the Athens Road in Princeton. While her health permitted, she enjoyed going to the beach, attending church and loved her family most of all. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Carl Smith along with nine siblings, Ethel Smith, Claude Collins, Virgie Benak, Clyde Collins, Pete Collins, Vernia King, Jean Carlson, Juanita Wood and Maxine Collins.Those left to cherish her memory, her four loving children and their spouses, Carl and Stacy Smith Jr., Sharon and Hugh White, Sandra and Kevin Webb and Sherri and Gary Cochrane; Eight grandchildren; Nine great-grandchildren; One sister, Joann Wood; Several nieces and nephews.  Services to celebrate the life of Watie Smith will be held 11:00 A.M.
