Virginia "Ginny" Lee Carter, 56, of Princeton, passed away Saturday evening, February 8, 2025, at Bowers Hospice House. Born April 30, 1968, in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Donnie Carter, Jr. and Peggy Williams Carter. Ginny had worked for Salvation Army Thrift Store in various roles.  Ginny loved spending time with her family, especially going to the river. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Freda Harris, Debby Nowlin, Connie Combs, brother, Michael Harris, niece, Crystal Combs and nephew, Anthony Harris. Survivors include children James Carter, Ciara Poore, Nevaeh Poore, and Alyssa Poore; brother, William "Ricky" Carter, of Princeton; nieces, Tina Lucas and husband, Dakota, Peggy Blackburn, of North Carolina, Terri Harris, of Princeton, and Monica Combs, of Virginia; nephews, Teddy Lambert, Larry Dale, both of North Carolina, and Brandon Combs; great nieces, Amairella White, Abigail Billings, Isabella Billings and Courtney Walker; great nephews, T.J.
