Thomas “Tommy” Marvin McPherson, Sr. 88 of Rocky Branch Road, Princeton died Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley. Born on January 2, 1938, in Columbia, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Gay Montgomery McPherson and Margaret Lee McPherson.

Tommy was a 1956 graduate of Princeton High School and retired from Norfolk & Southern railroad having worked as a boilermaker and welder. He is survived by five children, Thomas Marvin McPherson, Jr., Sherri Pendleton, Michael Wayne McPherson, Jeffrey Dean McPherson and James Allen McPherson. Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Two Siblings, Carol Pendleton and Gay Montgomery McPherson, Jr. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at the McPherson Cemetery with Pastor Emory Marchant officiating.
