Terry Wayne Surface aka Blackhorse of Willowton Road, Kellysville, WV went to be with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 27, 2025 surrounded by his wife and kids. Born July 31, 1962, he was the son of the late Clarence L. Surface Sr. and Violet Virginia Dunn. Terry was a truck driver for over 25 years. He was the life of the party. Terry loved helping others and he loved Christmas and his Birsday, especially opening presents! He enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing. He loved shooting skip in the evenings with all his CB buddies but mostly spending time with his "cakes," his kids, their spouses and his grandsons. He was proceeded in death by his father, mother and three sisters, Ramona "Francis" Alvis, Norma Jean Jones, and Dixie Surface Shore. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Kimberly of 41 years. His son Terrence Wayne "Ole Buddy" and wife Mary of Brushfork, WV, his daughter Stephanie Nichole "Tefni" and husband Austin of Ballard, WV and three grandsons Tyler Wade "Ty" and companion Jaylen, Tanner Scott "Tanner Man" and Trenton Austin "Trent Trent." Additional survivors include three brothers and one sister, Clarence Edward Dunn and wife Donnie of Flint, MI, Clarence L. Surface Jr. and wife Karen of Princeton, WV, Garland "Mack" Surface and wife Tracy of Oakvale, WV and Rena Earls and husband Mike of Hudson, FL and one brother in law Larry Shore of Kellysville, WV. And his wife's sister, Debbie Andrews and husband Calvin of Oak Hill, WV. As well as a special niece whom he thought of as a sister Karen "Kink" Bell. Also one very special great niece whom he loved dearly, Sierra Hope Jones. As well as many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. And countless special friends.  The family will receive friends at Memorial Funeral Directory and Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton on Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM.  Funeral services will immediately follow with Pastor Eddie Day officiating.
