Tammy Carol McCoy Lucas, 65, of Princeton, passed away Monday, July 21, 2025, at Princeton Community Hospital. Born April 13, 1960, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Homer McCoy and Beatrice Hicks Graham. Tammy was a co-owner of Lucas Trucking with her husband, Randall, for many years and was also the owner of Tammy's Treasures. She was a caregiver to her sister and brother. Tammy loved working outside, staying busy with yardwork, home repairs and going to flea markets. Her family was her pride and joy; she was a mother and confidant to all and loved her family deeply. She was a free spirit who loved spending time with her grandkids, teaching them about the big outdoors, fishing and hunting. She loved to vacation with her family and loved cruising whether it was cruisin' night on Mercer Street or on the Carnival cruise ships. Tammy loved her animals. In addition to her parents, Tammy was preceded in death by her husband, Randall Lucas, stepfather, Fred "Buddy" Graham; brothers, Patrick McCoy, Michael McCoy, Dean McCoy, Terry McCoy, Barry Lusk; and a sister, Veronica Abshire. Those left to cherish her memory, her sons, Shane McCoy (Jordan) and Robert Lucas (Crystal); siblings, Bonnie Gibson (Clyde), Mark McCoy (Minnie), Gary McCoy; grandchildren, Laken Lucas, Makaylee Lucas, Keith Lucas, Tyler Walls, Paul Driscoll, Joshua McCoy, Zachary Smith, Abigail McCoy, Gracie McCoy, and Aralyn Gullion; great grandchildren, Haisleigh Smith and Claire Smith; Special Nieces, Cindy Graham, Shannon Graham and Rhonda Akers; Faithful Companion, her dog, Scooby; and many nieces and nephews. Services to celebrate the life of Tammy Lucas will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2025, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton, with Pastor Ryan Parks officiating. Burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park, Princeton, WV. Friends may visit with the family Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour. A Celebration of Life to follow at Tammy's house at 1708 Rocky Branch Road, Princeton, WV following the graveside service. Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com .
