Sylvia Kelley Vipperman, 80, of Princeton, died peacefully Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at her home with family by her side.

Born September 1, 1945, in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Paul C. Kelley & Lucille Whitt Kelley. Sylvia was a graduate of Princeton High School. She retired from Southern Highlands with more than 30 years of service. She was of the Baptist faith. While her health allowed, she enjoyed going to the beach, camping, making jewelry, reading, doing crafts but most of all spending time with her family and her four-legged best friend Tex.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John C. Vipperman, daughter Debbie Vipperman Goodman along with two siblings, Paul "Corky" Kelley and Maria Kelley. Survivors include her two children and spouses, Melissa & John Hendrick & John David & Trish Vipperman, seven grandchildren, James Vipperman & companion Taylor, Robert Vipperman, Michael & Madison Hendrick, Brittany & Austin Perdue, Amber, Tamera & Nick Goodman, 13 great grandchildren. Along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Sylvia Vipperman will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 14, 2026, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Charlie Drake officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday from Noon until the service hour at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
