Sylvia Vera Hylton Hill, 88, of Princeton, died peacefully Monday, May 30, 2022, at her home with her loving family by her side. Born April 10, 1934, on Bud Mountain, she was the daughter of the late Sam Hylton & Lillie Mae Bishop Hylton. Mrs. Hill had formerly worked for the Maidenform, several sewing factories in the area, the Omelet Shop & Dinner Bell Restaurant. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Hill had a sweet spirit about herself, she put her family first & foremost. While her health permitted, she loved traveling to the beach, having cookouts with the family, & most of all, she loved spending time with her grandkids. She was preceded by two children, Pam Hill & Sam Hill along with 6 siblings. Those left to cherish her memory, two children, Marinda Mawalls (Kenneth), Timothy Hill (Sandy), 8 grandchildren, Billie Hylton (Curtis Jr.), Otto Brown (Dawn), Chance Lail, Dakota Lail, Blaze Wright, Christina Stanley (James), Eric Hill (Nichole), Callie Hill, two step grandchildren, Crystal Barker & Amanda Lail.  13, great grandchildren, Gerrette  Hylton, Kohan Hylton, Nicholas  Lail, Mason Lail, Caden Wells, Kaylin Doss, Kaci Hylton, Gabrien Hylton , Christian Stanley, Milly Hill,  Noah Stanley, Nathan Stanley,  Aaron Stanley. 1 great great grandchild Adalie Lambert. Three siblings, Dora Sizemore, Mary Isom & Bobby Hylton (Joyce). And a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Sylvia Hill will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 6, 2022, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Jim Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family via www.memorialfd.com Her family & friends will serve as pallbearers.
