Susan Ann Taylor, 69, of Kirk Street, Princeton, died peacefully early Sunday morning, September 22, 2024, at her home with family by her side. Born November 24, 1954, in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Cecil Cordell and Nannie Freel Nipper Cordell.

Susan was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing, dancing, reading, watching westerns, working word search puzzles and going for rides in the country. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wesley Taylor, three sibling, Nellie Perdue, Buster Cordell and Delbert Farmer.

Left to cherish her memory include her five children, Kimberly Susan Masters (Ed), Amy Christine Lawrence (fiancé Shannon Hodge), Laura Jean McCartney (companion Chris Wade), Corrina Gail Perkins (Roy) and Robert W. Taylor II (companion Summer Putorek); Twelve grandchildren; Twelve great-grandchildren; Three siblings, Floyd Simpkins Jr., Cleo Farmer and Barbara Ann Anderson; Her best friend Jack Hager, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, September 30, 2024, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Jerry Heaton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from Noon until the service hour. Susan's family will serve as pallbearers.
