Susan Champ Overbay, 57, of Princeton, died Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley. Born June 14, 1966, in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Jimmy and Peggy Adams Champ. She was a devoted homemaker, mother, grandmother and sister. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband John Overbay, Brother Wesley Champ, sister, Rita Blankenship and a nephew, Little Steven Champ. Those left to cherish her memory, four children: Stevi Overbay, Jamie Thorne and husband Nick, Micky Overbay and Payton Overbay; Grandchildren, Adalyn, Ryker, Ryzer and Ava; Siblings, Ruby Diane Wright and husband David, Johnnie Champ and Steven Champ; Special niece, Carmen Cecil; A host of nieces and nephews. A time of sharing will be held Friday, November 3, 2023, at the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M.
