Steven Oscar Edward Champ, 28, of Princeton died suddenly Thursday, January 12, 2023, in Princeton. Born October 14, 1994, in Princeton, he was the son of Steve Champ of Princeton and the late Melissa Short Shrader. Steven worked in construction as a masonry.  He was a devoted father, son, brother and friend.  He enjoyed "cutting up" and having fun. In addition to his mother, he was preceded by several relatives, Peggy and Jimmy Champ, Rita Blankenship, James Wesley Champ, Steve Short, David Short and JoJo Short. Survivors in addition to his father Steve; His two children, Olivia Champ and Avery Champ; Siblings, Peyton and James Champ, Tiffany Creasy (Thomas), Kevin Short (Tina) and Tonya Short;  A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Services to celebrate his life will be at 3:00 P.M. Friday, January 20, 2023, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Joe Besenyei speaking.
