Shirley Elizabeth White, 93, of Princeton, passed peacefully early Sunday morning, December 18, 2022, at her home with her family at her side. Born March 18, 1929, in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Roy Boles & Katie Daugherty Boles. Mrs. White was a graduate of Princeton High School and retired from the Maidenform Corporation in Princeton. She had been a faithful member of Kee Street United Methodist Church for over 77 years, having taught Sunday school for sixteen years. She will be remembered for being a faithful & loving wife, mother, grandmother & sister. Mrs. White enjoyed cooking, canning and sewing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband Raymond Paul White, and five siblings. Those left to cherish her memory, her daughters and their husbands, Debbie & Andy McClung, Sharon & Wren Carr, three grandchildren: Angela & Chris Combs, Mary Beth & Andrew Gerstmyer, & Rebecca & Logan Self. Eight great-grandchildren, Cindy, Betty Ann and Glen Combs, Katie, Tommy and Sarah Beth Gerstmyer, Ruthie and Ann Logan Self; Special place in Mrs. White's heart was held for Cindy Southern, along with a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Kee Street United Methodist Church in Princeton with Pastor Larry Dyer & John Puckett officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Princeton. Friends may visit the family Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour at the church.
