Shirley F. Harvey, 84, of Princeton, died Monday, September 7, 2026, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born June 18, 1942, in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Eloise Saunders Gray and stepfather Geoge Gray. For more than 26 years, she was a cook at Johnston Inn in Princeton. She loved playing Bingo and cooking.

In addition to her mother & stepfather, she was preceded by her husband Glenn Harvey and companion of over 26 years, Richie Perdue.

Survivors include her two children & spouses, Dwayne & Angie Harvey, Dreama Jones & companion Glen Edison, Grandchildren, Matthew & Samanatha Harvey, Jacob & Brittany Bailey, & Cheyanne Walker. great grandchildren, Elias, Garibel, Justice, Pixie, Amelia & Scarlett along Osiel, Miseal, Olivia & Luvenia.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 10, 2026, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Roade in Princeton with Pastor Ron Thomure officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour.
