Shirley Ann Fletcher, 93, passed peacefully in her sleep, Friday, September 11 th, 2026, at her home in Princeton. Born July 'l O'", 1933, in Hiawatha WV, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Nancy Grose Taylor. She loved to talk about how much she loved and

cherished her family. She was Girl Scout leader as well as assisting her husband with starting the girls' softball team in Kopperston WV. She loved to garden, cook, and sing. She also volunteered for many years at Colonial Floral in Princeton. She was a member of the Toneda Baptist Church in Kopperston WV.

In addition to her mother and father she was proceeded in death by her husband Everett "Snook" Fletcher. Brothers David Taylor, Carl Taylor, Billy Taylor, and Bobby Taylor. Sisters Laura Jane "Betty" Joseph, Eunice Cline, Edna Rogers. And Grandson James Everett "Jamie" Mink.

Survivors include her two children Nancy Young and life partner Paul Eden of Middleburg Va. Calvin Fletcher and his husband Fred Browning of Princeton WV. Granddaughter Christie Adkins and her husband Jason of Suffolk Va. Grandson Justin Browning of Princeton WV. Great granddaughter Maddie Mink Kohler and husband Benjamin of Virginia Beach Va and Jayce Adkins of Suffolk Va. Mrs. Fletcher resided with her son Calvin in Princeton WV. She is also survived by two sister's Jettie Burkett and Patty Thomason and her husband Marshall and one brother Owen Taylor and wife Letha. She was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Browning, Eathen Blankenship, Kevin Davis, Levi Davis, Brian Clisso and Kevin Browning

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 11, 2026, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Ryan Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton, WV. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday from Noon until the service hour.
