Sherry Lynn Lilly, 61, of Agape Lane, Lerona, died suddenly Thursday, October 5, 2023, at her home. Born December 13, 1961, in Welch, WV she was the daughter of Juanita Lilly Howell of Lerona and the late Vernon Howell. After receiving her GED, she attended Concord College for two years. She was a former employee with Volvo White Trucking, Dublin, VA and was a devoted homemaker. She loved her mother, son, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her siblings. Sherry enjoyed going to yard sales, but most of all, she loved to haggle over prices. Survivors in addition to her mother Juanita, she is survived by her son and his wife, William Douglas "Doug" Lilly and Kayla; Grandchildren, Tabitha Vest and husband Jesse, Eli and Sebastian Lilly; Step-grandchildren, Paxton Phillips, Camryn and Kyren Woo; One great-grandchild, June Vest; Three siblings, Vernon "Bud" Howell and wife Jeanie, Daniel Howell and wife Beth and Terry Howell; Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 11, 2023, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Rick Coburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Resthaven/Oakwood Cemetery in Princeton. Friends may visit the family Wednesday from Noon until the services hour. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
