Samuel Kenneth Marion, age 62, of Rock, WV passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025 after a brief illness. He was born on August 14, 1962 in Magoffin, Kentucky. He lived a fulfilling life as a loving father, brother and friend.

Sam is survived by his children Sebastian Marion (14) and Jadon Marion (12); daughter, Kaeila Torres, Jessica Hunter, his son's mother. Tiffany Roberts, his partner and help mate in parenting for over eight years. They shared a special bond. He was more than a friend. He was a soul companion.

His greatest joy in life was his children and family. He loved nothing more than spending time at home enjoying daily life events with his boys. His interest included camping, and being outside in nature. In his free time, he enjoyed doing odd jobs and working on construction projects. His favorite place was Gordon's Construction Company, where he enjoyed spending time with his co-workers and friends.

He grew up in McDowell County, WV, with his family, facing life's challenges and joys together. He is survived by his brother David Marion and his wife, Cyndi of Floyd Knobs, IN: Steve Marion and his wife Martha of Dora, AL; sister Rita Shade of Morgantown, WV and Angie Willoughby and her husband Russ of Princeton, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Helen Marion and his brother Bill Marion.

Sam was a kind soul with a heart of gold, always there for family and friends. His spirit will live in our heart's forever.
