Roy Kenneth Crews, 56, of Morton Circle, Oak Hill, formerly of Princeton, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, in Plateau Medical Center, Oak Hill. Born June 27, 1966, in Princeton, he was the son of JoAnn White Crews and the late Roy Lee Crews. Bucky worked construction for years. Bucky was such a happy man these last 5 ½ years. Bucky loved summer time and he enjoyed camping, fishing and absolutely loved going to the beach but most of all loved his "fur babies", Rascal, Smokey and Buster. Bucky was also his wife Amy's saving grace! In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Marie Lilly, his children's mother Rose Crews, special brother-in-law, Scooter Mathena and one brother Earl Lilly. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Amy Marie Crews of Oak Hill; His mother, JoAnn Crews of Lerona; Three sisters, Debbie Bird (Ronnie), Tina Larue (Charles) and Brenda Pennington (Tim); Mother-in-law, Brenda (Phillip) Justice of Bluefield, VA and Joe (Dee) Mathena of Princeton; Two daughters, Kendra (Brad) Meadows, Autumn Crews (David) all from Hinton; Step-daughter, Haylee; Two sons, John Ross Tanner and Kenneth Lee Crews of Pineville; Grandchildren, Nevaeh Connor, Xavier Meadows, Maddoxx Aerionna Meadows, Trenton Meadows, Kali Jayne, Azariya Pack, Kyzac Kellison and Braelyn Kellison; Amy and Bucky had a God son, Ayden Paul Mitchell of Northfork; Best friends, Bobby and Sherry of Oakhill, Robert and Shayla Mitchell of Northfork; Host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews to treasure his memory. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Monday, December 5, 2022, from the New Zion Cemetery near Oakvale with Pastor Joey Rowe officiating. Those attending the service are requested to meet at the cemetery no later than 1:45 P.M. Serving as pallbearers will be David Kellison, Roger Thornton, Joe Mathena, Phillip Justice, Jimmy Thornton and Lil' Jimmy Thornton. Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com . The Crews family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory and Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
