Rosa Lee Elmore 87 of Princeton, WV. passed away on July 18, 2024, at Glenwood Healthcare. She was born January 28, 1937 in Lebanon, VA. She was a devoted housewife and mother, and a long-time active member of Princeton First United Methodist Church. Lee was a 30-year volunteer with The American Red Cross. Lee was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Nathan Elmore, who passed in November 2023. She was the daughter of the late M.D. Smith Sr. and Alta Campbell Smith of Lebanon, VA. Also preceding her in death are brothers Gaines, M.D. Jr., Fred, Calvin, Lloyd and Billy Joe Smith, and sisters Ethel Pippin and Pauline Williams. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Lee is survived by her daughter Kathryn Elmore Dooley and husband Richard, her granddaughter Lynsey Lea Artrip, and her great-granddaughter Kaitlyn Rose Artrip. The family will celebrate her life with Graveside services, officiated by Rev. Michael Rexroad of Princeton First United Methodist Church, on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at the Roselawn Cemetery (Garden of Trinity) in Princeton at 10:00 A.M.   Those attending the service are requested to meet at the cemetery by service hour.
