Obituary

Ronnie W. Billings, 75, of Princeton, died early Monday morning, February 24, 2025, at his home. Born February 8, 1950, in Mullens, he was the son of the late Robert Arnold Billings & Charlene Vanhoy Billings. After graduation from high school, Ronnie attended WVU for two years. He was a certified electrician and retired mine foreman for U.S. Steel # 50 at Pineville. Ronnie had served his country with the U.S. Army. He was ordained as a minister in 2013. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Sylvia Tolliver Billings, along with two siblings, Douglas Billings & Brenda Dent. Survivors include seven children, James Adkins, Janice Mullins, Buddy Adkins, Kathy Dancy, Roger Adkins, Ethel Morgan & Kevin Cook, Several grandchildren & great grandchildren. Five siblings, Byron Billings (Marie), Steven Billings, Pamela Hull & Companion Fred Hancock, Belinda Akers (Otis) & Bobby Billings (Linda) along with a host of nieces and nephews. Private Graveside services will be held Monday, March 3, 2025, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with Sam Walker officiating.  In lieu of flowers, the family would request a gift to the funeral home to assist with expenses.  Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com.
