Ronald Lawrence Dunn, 72 of Browns Farm Road, Princeton died Friday, February 7, 2025 along his precious Companion Sheila Schriver from injuries received in an automobile accident. Born in Princeton on September 6, 1952 he was the son of the late Samuel Arthur Dunn and Virginia Amelia Hodges Dunn. Ronald was a retired electrician in Coal Mines and was a member of the UMWA. He was a member of the Southern Brotherhood Motorcycle Club, he loved to race cars on the dirt track at the Princeton Motor Speedway and feed his herd of deer daily. He was the most caring father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings, Carol Cisco, Raymond (R.C.) Dunn and one great grandchild, Madison. Survivors include his children, Kathy Dunn Ashford and husband Greg, Melissa Davis and husband Eddie and Jimmy Slaughter and wife Pam. Grandchildren, Ethan Scott and girlfriend Ashlynne, Britany Kanode and husband Mikie, Josh Slaughter and wife Katie, Derek Poole and wife Heather, Tyler Davis, Michai Slaughter and Tara Blackburn. Special Great Grandchildren, Kashton and Keagon and several Greater Grandchildren. Siblings, Roby Dunn and wife Annie, Ricky Dunn and wife Debbie, Christine Kinzer and husband Gene, Roy Dunn, James Roger Dunn and wife Joyce and Gracie Widner. Several nieces and nephews. Sheila Schriver's daughter Ashleigh and fiance Brandon also survive. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Ronald Dunn will be held 7:00 PM. on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Joyce Tedder and Pastor Roger Walker officiating. Burial will follow on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Dunn Family Cemetery on the Browns Farm Road, Princeton. Those attending the committal on Friday are asked to meet at the cemetery by 11:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family Thursday from 5:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com. The Dunn family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory and Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
