Roger Eugene Newberry, 81, of McKinley Avenue in Princeton, West Virginia, died peacefully on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, West Virginia.

Roger was born on February 11, 1943, in Pounding Mill, Virginia. He was the son of the late Marie Newberry Robinette.

He hauled timber for many years for various companies in the Princeton area and also worked at Lester's Tree Service.

There are many who still cherish his memory. These include Brenda Gail Bibey who was his life partner of 49 years. He also has six children: Lisa Meadows (Ray), Rhonda Dick (Jesse), Michael Newberry (Laura), Julie Bibey, Mitzi Bibey King (Mason), Roger Newberry (Kim), and daughter in law Jennifer Newberry (Scotty). Finally, he leaves many memories and a legacy for 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

A time of sharing and gathering will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton, West Virginia. Mr. Ronnie Radford will rendering a Eulogy at 11:00 A.M.
