Roger Wayne Ellis, 45, of Man, West Virginia, passed away on July 9, 2026, in Beckley, West Virginia.

He was born on January 29, 1981, in Man, West Virginia, to the late Roger Neil Ellis and Joyce Elizabeth Ellis. Roger was known for his love of the outdoors and the deep companionship he shared with his beloved dog, Charlie.

He found peace in nature and cherished the simple moments in life, especially those spent outdoors with Charlie by his side. Roger will be remembered for his quiet strength, his appreciation for life’s simple pleasures, and the lasting impact he had on those who knew him.

Roger is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Lynn Ellis; his faithful dog, Charlie Ellis; his sisters, Joetta Lynn Ellis and Joanna Elizabeth Rasnick; and his cherished nieces and nephews, Anthoney William Hinkle, Jacob Ruan Hinkle, Whitney Dawn Hatfield, Brittney Elizabeth Salmons, and Piper Lei Rasnick.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father, Roger Neil Ellis, and his mother, Joyce Elizabeth Ellis.

Roger will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.
