Roby Dale Shrewsbury 85 of Spanishburg formerly of Matoaka died Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Glenwood Healthcare Center. Born in Mercer County, WV on February 7, 1940, he was the son of the late Cledith Shrewsbury and Martha Cecil Shrewsbury. Mr. Shrewsbury retired from Highland Containers in Jamestown, NC and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Myrtle Louise Graham Shrewsbury, one son, Cledith Shrewsbury, one brother, Steve Shrewsbury and one sister, Blanche Simons. Survivors include his three children, Roby D. Shrewsbury, Jr (Khristy), Sherry Ratliff (Douglas Kneeland) and Ira Shrewsbury. One brother, Warren "Jerry" Shrewsbury. Three Grandchildren, Jeffrey Ratliff, Jr. , Roby "Trey" Shrewsbury and Dillon Shrewsbury.  The family has honored Roby's wishes to be cremated.
