Robin Lee Proffitt, 54, of N. Tazewell, VA, died Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at the Tazewell Community Hospital. Born December 28, 1970, in Richmond, VA, she was the daughter of the late William Leroy Bixby & Sylvia Jane Farley Bixby. After earning her GED, she further her education by receiving her CNA certification that allowed her to work in the healthcare profession. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Duane Fitzhugh Proffitt, and one brother, Joshua Bixby. Those left to cherish her memory, her companion of 14 years, Don Crigger, two children, Kayla White & Jessica Proffitt. Three siblings, Billie Mulkey, Michelle Davidson & Christopher Bixby. 8 grandchildren. In honoring her wishes, she has been cremated, and a private family gathering will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be shared with the family via memorialfd.com.
