Rickey Junior Kennedy, 40, of Lashmeet, died Friday, May 16, 2025, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. Born October 10, 1984, in Princeton, he was the son Connie Sue Lambert Kennedy Martin and the late Ricky Marvin Kennedy. Rickey was a former employee for the City of Princeton and Pipestem State Park. Rickey enjoyed being outdoors, camping, and playing Dragon Ball Z & Angry Video Game Nerd. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by Grandparents Marvin Kennedy, Edna Kennedy, Franklin D. Lambert. Survivors in addition to his mother Connie, stepfather Thomas C. Martin, sister, Shara Kennedy, nieces, Dante, Kima, Yusuf & Jasmine. Grandmother Jerline Lambert. Special friends Stacie Harrison and her son Jesse, aunt Kathy Kenney. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 23, 2025, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with John Puckett officiating.  Friends may visit with the family Friday from Noon until the service hour.
