Reverend Harold Dean Russell, age 90, of Princeton, WV, was born on January 26, 1935, in Piper's Gap, Virginia, near Galax, Virginia. He passed away the morning of June 28, 2025 at Princeton Community Hospital, after a long Illness. He is preceded in death by his brother George Curtis Russell, his mother Manie Abshire Russell, his father Guy Russell Sr. and his sister Mary Ruth.

He is survived by his wife, of 68 years, Sarah Sizemore Russell and his daughter Samantha Russell Craig of Princeton, WV. He is also survived by his brother, Guy Russell Jr., and his wife Marie and his sister Ruby Sizemore and her husband Bobby.

He was a Retired, Ordained United Methodist Minister with The Holston United Methodist Conference for 40 years, serving in Southwestern Virginia and Eastern Tennessee. He was a graduate of People's Bible College in North Carolina. He was a Free and Accepted Mason, and a member of King Lodge #461 A & FM, Bristol, TN.

Graveside Rites will be Thursday, July 10 at 2 pm in the Mausoleum at Roselawn Cemetery, in Princeton WV, Guy Russell, Jr, his brother, will be performing the Graveside Rites.
