It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved sister, mother and friend, Reba Kay Southern Moscaritolo, who departed from this world on March 7th, 2024. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion. Born on April 10th 1951, Reba embraced life with a warmth and compassion that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She was a pillar of strength for her family, a beacon of love that illuminated even the darkest days. Her life was a testament to the values of empathy, generosity, and resilience. Reba Kay was a nurturing soul who dedicated herself to her family. Her siblings, children and grandchildren meant the world to her. She tirelessly worked to provide a foundation of love and support. Her wisdom and guidance will continue to shape their lives, serving as a source of inspiration. Her name, Reba means "Diamond of Heaven" raised to be loyal and real but stubbornly independent, with a heart of an angel. She gave without expecting anything in return, even when she had nothing left to give. She worked tirelessly for the sake of loved ones, no matter how stressed they are from their own responsibilities. She brought light and love to everyone around her. In addition to her role as a devoted mother and wife, Reba was a cherished friend and confidante. Her kindness extended beyond her family, reaching out to community, colleagues, and anyone in need. She lived many years devoted to the Fraternal Order of Eagles and achieving Madam President of Auxiliary 714 supporting the community and many charitable causes, her genuine smile and warm embrace made her a source of comfort to all who sought solace in her presence. Reba was a woman of many talents and passions. Whether she was tending to her garden, creating costumes, clothes, sewing, embroidering, or lending a helping hand to community projects, she approached every endeavor with artistic enthusiasm and a zest for life Her boundless energy and creativity were infectious, leaving an indelible mark on those around her. As we mourn the loss of Reba, let us celebrate the profound impact she had on our lives and the lives of countless others. Her memory will forever be etched in our hearts, a reminder of the enduring power of love, compassion, and selflessness. The memorial service honoring Reba is planned from 2 to 4 p.m. on April 7th at Monarch on Mercer, 801 Mercer St., Princeton, WV. The family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choosing in Reba's memory.
May she rest in peace, surrounded by the eternal love that she so freely gave during her time with us.
