Obituary

The family of Raymond Bruce Rose,72, of Bluefield, wish to honor and celebrate the one-year anniversary of his death.  He died on Wednesday, January 31, 2024.  Born March 3, 1951, in Bluefield, he was the son of the late Raymond Nelson Rose and Sylvia Bruce Burton.  Bruce was a retired conductor for the N&W Railroad. He loved the outdoors, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle to the beach, going to car auctions, car shows, watching western movies and watching trains.  Most of all, he loved his family and his dogs.  He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bluefield, where he was active with the youth of the church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Lynn Vance Rose.  Those left to cherish his memory are his two children, James Michael Rose and wife Jessica, Kristy Lynn Miller and husband Darryl;  Two grandsons, Tanner Rose and Hunter Honaker; One brother, Terry Rose and wife Rhonda. Niece Terra Cook (Alan) The Rose family was served by the Memorial Funeral Directory and Cremation Center on Athens Road in Princeton.
