Ray Oakley Thompson, 80, of Cupboard Way, Lerona, died Friday, April 21, 2023, at his residence. Born, November 17, 1942, he was the son of the late Paul Oakley Thompson and Ruth Virginia Phillips Thompson. Ray was a carpenter by trade who also loved his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Thompson and a sister, Lola Thompson. Left to cherish his memory are his Jammie Lynn Smith Thompson; Two children, Julie Gaspardo and Doug and Kevin Lee Thompson and wife Carrie; Two step-sons, Ronald Smith and Billy Smith; Five grandchildren, Megan, Laken, Noah, Bryson and Gavin; Two great-grandchildren, Makynsley and Bubb; One brother, Arnold Thompson; One sister, Carol Lewis.
