Randall French "Randy" LaRue, 72, of Bent Mountain Road, Lerona, died Saturday, December 23, 2023, at New River Valley Medical Center. Born April 3, 1951, in Princeton, he was the son of the late French C. LaRue & Ruby Ruth Fain LaRue. Randy was educated in Mercer County and had spent all his working life in the construction industry. He was an avid outdoorsman, especially hunting, fishing, hiking, and enjoying nature. Those left to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 44 years, Virginia Carol Hubbard LaRue, two daughters, Jennifer Renee LaRue Melendez & husband Jose, & Cynthia Brianne LaRue. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 5, 2024, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Dan Thyng and Jim Simmons officiating. A burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
