Priscilla Ann Maxwell, 74, of Princeton, died unexpectedly Saturday evening, April 5, 2025, at her home. Born September 15, 1950, in Bluefield, she was the daughter of the late Kirby Carson Kade & Evelyn Marie Purdy Kade. After graduating from Bramwell High School, she received her Licensed Practical Nursing Certificate, Priscilla retired from Princeton Community Hospital with more than 20 years of service. She was a faithful member of Maranatha Baptist Church on the Oakvale Road in Princeton. Priscilla was a devoted volunteer for the Chuck Mathena Center in Princeton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Beverly "Bev" James Maxwell, her son James Michael Maxwell, and sister Nancy Crews. Survivors include her two sons, Scott Dean Maxwell & wife Dr. Kathleen Martin, Brian Patrick Maxwell & wife Andrea, one brother, Jimmy Kade & wife Kathy & their two sons, Geoffrey & Zach, and her nieces and nephew Sharon & Karen Crews and Douglas Crews, Jr. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 15, 2025, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Donnie Farmer officiating. Private committal service will follow in the Bowling Cemetery at Spanishburg. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the service time.
