Phillip Hubert Ellison, 72, of North Tazewell VA, went home to meet his Lord and Savior Saturday, August 24, 2024, from injuries received involving a four-wheeling accident on the family farm near Camp Creek.

Born May 9, 1952, in Princeton, he was the son of the late Ajax Ellison and Retha Cox Ellison.

Phillip worked at Motion Power, Inc as a shop foreman before his retirement.  He was of the Faith of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Diana S. Ellison, sister, Pamela Ellison, brother, Danny Ellison and his wife Billy Ellison. Those left to cherish his memory are four siblings, Leslie Ellison and wife Wanda, Tommy Ellison and wife Susan, Ronnie Ellison and wife Jeanette and sister, Patty Richmond and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Phillip Ellison will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 31, 2024, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Jamie Mattox officiating. Burial will follow in the Ellison Family Cemetery at Camp Creek.

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel Ellison, Caleb Ellison, Matt Shawver, Duane Ellison, Jeff Graham, Joe-Charles Thomason, Travis Lilly and Kevin Ellison.
