Patrick Logan Brett, 32, of Princeton died Friday, May 6, 2022, overcome by the health issues in his life. He was born November 3, 1989, in Bluefield. He was the son of Debra McClanahan (Dave) and Richard Brett (Barbara) all of Princeton. Patrick was educated in Mercer County Schools, Marshall University, as well as the University of Indiana.  Patrick never met a stranger and he loved to make people smile and laugh. He showed kindness and compassion to the many people he called friends and he adored his family. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Madison and Natasha Brett along with his grandparents, Ellen and Fon McClanahan, and Pearlie and Richard Curtis Brett. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Ashley Brett and children, Dryden and Draven Raymond and Ella Pearl Brett who is due in July. He is also survived by sisters, Ashley Lowe, Kaycee Brett, Camilla Brett and Nikki Salyers, two nieces Ainsley Joyce, Taylin Francisco and a nephew TJ Francisco. In honoring Patrick's wishes he has been cremated and a celebration of life will be held 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 17, 2022, from the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Dr. Dan Jividen officiating. Patrick's final resting place will be at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield VA with his sisters.
