Patricia Sue White Akers, 77 of Princeton died late Saturday evening, February 3, 2024, at her residence. Born in Lerona on February 25, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Joseph Lilly and Armintia Day Lilly. She was formerly employed as a bookkeeper with her husband Attorney William J. Akers, loved to travel was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #33 in Athens, member of the Red Hat Society, and attended the Lashmeet Bible Baptist Church. Her greatest accomplishment in her life was being a Mother and grandmother to her family and other children that were around her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William J. Akers, step-son, William Gregory Akers. Siblings, Joseph Lilly, Jr., Earl Dean Lilly, James Thomas Lilly, Edith Lilly Episcopo, Frieda Lilly, Juanita Tyree, Ethel Sneed, Annie Starcher, Martha Atha, Penny Sluder and Geneva Spitelle. Survivors include her devoted children, Alvin L. White, Jr. and girlfriend Angie Edwards, Mike A. White, Tony White and his wife Regina and Jimmy White and his wife Telia. Grandchildren, Blake White, Austin White, Tanner White, Maverick White, Charlotte White and Maggie White. Eleven Great Grandchildren. Siblings, Marguerite Fleetwood, Mary Lamb and Learlene Nester Baker. Also surviving is her step-daughter, Katherine Paul and her three children, step-daughter, Kristina Adams and her three children, step-son, Bo Akers and her former Foreign Exchange Student, Nicole Burley-Cannon and her daughter. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 7, 2024, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Jimmy Cecil officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park in Princeton. Friends may call Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until the service hour at the funeral home. Joe Haynes, Tanner White, Shane McCoy, Mark Dick, Tony Reed, Blake White and Ron Shoda will serve as pallbearers. Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com .
