Patricia Duncan Christian Whaley, passed away on March 13, 2023, with her daughter Sheila Janssen by her side. She had lung cancer for almost three years. She passed peacefully and I made sure it was a loving transition.  She was 84 years of age and born February 7, 1939, was the parents of the late James Perry Duncan & Juanita Nuckolls Duncan.  She worked in sales most of her life, then in her later years, she served as a caregiver to Alzheimer's patients until she was well into her 70's. Patricia loved to play Bingo at the Elks Club along with golf. She was very devoted to her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She was a loving and loyal mother.  As her daughter, she was my best friend and I surely will miss her, but I know she is free. We will keep her in our memories and traditions alive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her older sister, Lois Castagna and brother Butch Duncan. Those left to cherish her memory, her daughter Sheila Janssen and husband Jeff; Son, Robert Christian and wife Nancy; Granddaughter, Amber Weaver; Great-grandson, Andrew Frie; Her younger sister, Phyllis Pendergast and her husband Bob; Niece, Terri Vaden; Brother-in-law, Tony Castagna; Father of her children, William Christian. The family has honored her wishes, she has been cremated and the family will hold a private celebration of her life later in the year.
