Obituary

Patricia "Patty" Blankenship Bradley, 75, of the Pisgah Road, Princeton passed from the world late Sunday night with family & friends by her side. Born April 19, 1945 in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Watt and Gladys Neal Blankenship. Patty was a graduate of Princeton High School and Little French Beauty Academy in Bluefield. She was the owner/operator of Pat Bradley's Beauty Stylette Shoppe since 1972. She was a faithful member of Johnston Chapel Baptist Church in Princeton. While her health permitted, she loved collecting glassware, sewing, cooking, and watching Westerns on television. Patty believed in working hard and vigorously with her hands.  She provided food for her family and friends.  She was always willing to share with those who had less. She will be remembered for being devoted to her husband, children, siblings, and her loyal patrons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Bradley, along with her three brothers, Watt Jr., Robert and Doug Blankenship. Those left to cherish her memory, two children, Terry W. Bradley, DeAnza L. McKenzie and husband Jimmy all of Princeton, 9 grandchildren; one sister, Aileen R. Bailey, and step-children Steven Bradley and Cheryl Bradley Fellers; niece Linda and Roger Cox, her dear friend, Ann Barton who traveled everywhere with her, friend Sherry Counts, and a slew of nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate the homegoing of Patty Bradley will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 25, 2020 at Johnston Chapel Baptist Church on Halls Ridge Road near Princeton with Revs. Dr. John King and Dan Thyng officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.  F riends may visit with the family Friday from noon until the service hour. Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com . Due to the Governor's mandate, masks and social distancing, will be observed. The Bradley family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory and Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
