Omer J. Wood III, 70, of Princeton, formerly of Mullens, died peacefully Sunday afternoon October 11, 2026, at his residence. Born November 29, 1955, in Mullens, he was the son of the late Omer J. Wood Jr. & Grace Brugh Wood. Omer was a former member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Princeton. Survivors include his sister Susan Wood, his caregiver of 24 years, Benny Coburn and the staff of ResCare. Services will be held 10:30 A.M. on Friday, October 16, 2026, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on Athens Road in Princeton.
