Nina Mae Snapp, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, sister and friend, left her earthly body and gained her heavenly wings on Friday, May 1,2026. Nina, was born September 24,1948, in Princeton, West Virginia. She worked for Maidenform Company for 18.5 years. Nina graduated high school in 1967. She was a devout Chrisitan, along with reading her Bible she loved listening to Southern Gospel Music on the radio and thoroughly enjoyed going to the local in person concerts when her health allowed. Nina also enjoyed reading, watching game shows, baking and most of all spending time with her great grandkids who kept her young. Nina is proceeded in death by her parents, Russell Johnston Sr. and Lois Mercer Johnston, three brothers Ronald Johnston, Donald Johnston and Franklin Johnston, and 1 sister Fairy Bursisk.

Left to cherish Nina’s memory are her husband of 57 years Leonard Snapp Jr, her 2 children Russell Snapp (Kristen), Ginger Blevins (Russell). 4 Grandchildren, Paula Callen (Collin), Rachel Nester (Shannon), Tracy Blevins (Sandra) and Aubree Snapp. 7 Great-Grandchildren, Jalin, Alexis, Elizabeth, Cameron, Paisleigh, Alan and Serana.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Nina Mae Snapp will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 1:00pm, at Memorial Funeral Directory on Athens Road in Princeton, WV with Pastor Larry Dyer and Pastor Blake Bivens. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV. Friends and family are invited to gather and pay their respects, sharing cherished memories and offering support to one another during this difficult time on Thursday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home. The service will provide an opportunity for all who knew and loved Nina to reflect on her life, her dedication to her family, and her unwavering faith. Her legacy of love and kindness will be remembered by everyone whose lives she touched.
