Nannie Lou Reed, 85, of Princeton, died Wednesday morning, March 25, 2026, at Princeton Community Hospital. Born October 10, 1940, at Pageton, she was the daughter of the late Charles Rorrer & Nannie Rose Rorrer. Nan graduated from Princeton High School, Class of 1959.  While living in North Carolina, Nan worked at Nations Bank Corporation. Nan was a faithful member of First Christian Church on Straley Avenue in Princeton. In her spare time, she loved working in her flower beds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard M. Reed, along with four siblings, Charles Rorrer Jr., Helen Wimmer, Betty Shephard & Don Rorrer. Survivors include three sisters, Carol Dixon & husband Gary, Judy Reed & husband Gary, & Sara Keys. Nan had a host of nieces and nephews that loved her dearly. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, March 30, 2026, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Steve Janning & Chaplin Danny Gunnoe officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from Noon until the service hour.
