Nancy C. Wood,90, of Princeton died peacefully Monday, January 26, 2026, at Glenwood Healthcare Center. Born November 12, 1935, in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late George Wood & Virginia Ellison Wood. Having worked at the Bluefield Sanitarium and retiring from Bluefield Regional Medical Center after 30 years of devoted service. Nancy was a faithful member of Calfee Memorial Christian Church in Green Valley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Juanita Carson & brother Donald Wood. Nancy will be remembered for being a quiet and gentle soul. Survivors include her niece and nephew, Kim (Doug) Wills & Brian (Stacey) Carson both of Sagamore Hills, Ohio; also, special cousin and caregiver, June Walters & husband Erie of Princeton. Also, cousins, Debbie (Jimmie) Slone of Cleveland, TN., & Brian (Heather) Burton of Princeton. A private burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, and a memorial service will be held in the spring of the year.
