In Loving Memory of Nancy "Renee" Tilley January 21, 1971 - September 6, 2026 With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a beloved mother, grandmother, partner, and friend, who passed away on September 6, 2026, at the age of 55. She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis Nelson Short and Alena Kaye Short.

Renee will be remembered for having operated R Short Photography and later with Buffet’s Bakery & Treats. She leaves behind the love of her life, John Billy Pack; her daughter, Ashley Nicole Thompson, and son-in-law, Shaleel De'Wayne Thompson; and two beloved grandsons, Braylon Carter Thompson and Luca Alexander Thompson; and other family. Above all, she loved her family. Her life, her memories, and the love she gave will continue to live on through those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Her family will carry her memory with them always, finding comfort in the moments they shared, the love she gave, and the lasting place she holds in their hearts. In honoring Renee’s wishes, she has been cremated. We will celebrate her life with a gathering of family & friends, Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the Chuck Mathena Center, # 2 Stafford Common, Princeton, from 4:00 until 7:00P.M.
