Nalva Jo Wiley Eades, 94, of N. Wickham Ave., Princeton, went to be with the Lord Sunday, May 1, 2022, at Ridge Care Assisted Living. Born May 26, 1927, in Tophet, WV, she was the daughter of the late Lacy L Wiley and Jessie Virginia Lilly Wiley. Nalva loved the Lord and was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, aunt and friend. She was a graduate of Athens High School; she was a devoted member of Johnston Chapel Baptist Church on Halls Ridge Road in Princeton, enjoyed gardening, her flowers and family.  Nalva most recently was the Overseer of the Memorial Building for fourteen years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, William "Bill" Eades, her sister, Carroll Thorne, brother, Glen Wiley, nephew Timothy Joel Wiley, sister-in-law, Evelyn Maxine Wiley, brother-in-law, Marvin Thorne and grandson-in-law Kenneth "Andy" Anderson. Left to cherish her memory are devoted daughter, JoAnn Knowles and her husband Charlie; Grandchildren, Tina Anderson and Charles "Chuck" Knowles, Jr.; Several nieces, nephews, church family and friends also survive. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Nalva Jo Eades will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 5, 2022, from the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on Athens Road in Princeton with Pastors John King and Jim Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.  Friends may visit with the family Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family would like to acknowledge the extended family of Ridge Care Assisted Living for their outstanding love, friendship and compassion.
