Obituary

Michael Kyle Cook, 51, of New Hope Road, Princeton, died suddenly, Friday, November 18, 2022, in Princeton. Born, February 14, 1971, in Welch, he was the son of the late James Cook and Wanda Fuller Deskins. Michael collected silver, enjoyed woodworking and mechanics and was an avid WVU fan. He was the previous Operations Director for Applebee's. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two siblings, James Patrick Cook and Kimberly Cook and his father-in-law, Archie Billings. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 9 years, Tina Renea Billings Cook; Two children, Michael Cody Cook and Amber Shea Martin; Three grandchildren, Kaylin, Leeann and Ariashea; Step-father, Jim Deskins; Mother-in-law, Margaret Billings; Several nieces and nephews; His best for-legged friend, "Luke". The family has honored Michael's request to be cremated. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 26, 2022, from the Lifeline Princeton Church of God on the Oakvale Road in Princeton with Pastor Rodney Oxley officiating.
