Michael Wayne Bishop, 60, of Parkersburg, formerly of Mullens, died Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at the Cleveland Clinic, in Cleveland, OH. Born April 27, 1962, in Mullens, he was the son of Evelyn Ann Wingo Bishop of Princeton and the late Robert Eugene Bishop. Mike was a graduate of Mullens High School.  He was a former car salesman for Superior Toyota in Parkersburg for more than 20 years, after leaving the automobile industry, he began a career with the U.S. Postal Service in Parkersburg until his death.  He was of the Christian Faith.  Michael was a whitewater rafter guide for many years, an avid fisherman as well as saltwater fishing, hunting and woodworking. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 22 years, Teresa Yoho Bishop of Parkersburg; His mother, Evelyn Ann Bishop; One brother and his wife, Jeffrey and Pam Bishop; Nephews and niece, Adam, Stacie and Josh; Great-nieces and nephew, Olivia, Alyssa and Chase; His four-legged friends, Murphy, Piper and Bubby; Mother-in-law and father-in-law, Glen and Shirley Yoho; One brother in-law, Kevin Yoho. Services to celebrate the life of Michael Bishop will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 5, 2023 from the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor John Morgan officiating.  A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 6, 2023, at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery in Princeton, those wishing to attend are requested to meet at the funeral home on Monday by 1:45 P.M. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
